# MOTION_NO_EDGE

> A declared motion came to rest before its word, so it has no edge on its cue a viewer sees it land on.

A declared motion came to rest before its word, so it has no edge on its cue a viewer sees it land on.

This finding is an error, and DeckTalk judges it itself. `decktalk verify` reports it when it measures the finished film and reads back each recording log.
Pass `--allow MOTION_NO_EDGE` to carry on past it, and `--fail-on` to choose which severity fails a run.

The settings that move this verdict are `verify.cue_offset_max_ms`, `verify.motion_floor_percent`.

## What to do

Make the ease `firm`, so the motion is still moving when it lands on its word.
